21c Cocktail Terrace
I wanted to try the Cocktail Terrace at 21c ever since I had heard about its opening. Grace and I decided to try the rooftop on a Saturday and the wait in line was super long, but was worth it.
We began our dinner with an Aperol Spritz, of course, and it was pretty good. We also decided to order the shrimp cocktail which was super fresh and delicious.
I wish that the Cocktail Terrace had its menu online, so I will just have to describe the rest of the food and drink we ordered instead of the actual name.
We ordered something that I would describe as fancy chips and guacamole or a different take on ceviche for the next part of the meal. It was more so avocado with some vegetables and plantain chips. There was a citrus sauce on top of it and it had really great flavor. This was super refreshing and all of the textures together were perfect.
For the final food portion of the meal, we decided to order the tuna tartar. I have never tried any type of tartar before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This was delicious with a beet puree and strawberries – all of the flavors were unique and tied together seamlessly.
For our dessert, we decided to order another drink, this time one from the cocktail list. Once again, they don’t have the menu online, so I can’t exactly remember what we ordered. Grace’s was a twist on a spicy margarita with grapefruit and mine had fizzy strawberry refresher tones. They were both pretty good and refreshing.
I am happy that I was finally able to try some of the food and drinks at the 21c Cocktail Terrace and was pleased with everything I had. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t like seafood, come for the drinks instead. It was a quiet, nice setting with a beautiful view of parts of the city.
