Yuca
When I originally went to Yuca, I was going for a late afternoon breakfast, but when I looked at the menu the lunch items looked delicious.
I sat down and ordered the Strawberry Jalapeño Paloma with tequila, triple sec, strawberry, jalapeño, white grapefruit juice, lime juice, and strawberry puree. This drink sounds like it had a lot going on, but it was the perfect mix of fruity and spicy and I loved it.
I was all in for the lunch menu, but then I saw a table nearby order brunch food, so I went back to the breakfast menu.
I ordered The Hangover with potatoes, chorizo, crema, jalapeño, fresh pico, sunny eggs, cilantro, and avocado. I also ordered a side of French Toast because it sounded delicious. Both of these items were delicious, and although it didn’t go super well in the margarita, it was still great.
Yuca’s atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday afternoon with the live music and all of the different menu options. I loved the breakfast food I tried, and I definitely would go back to try some of the lunch items.
