Alpana

Alpana was my next restaurant to try which had delicious menu items to choose from. I started with a Smoked Melon Punch cocktail with mezcal, melon, fino sherry, and lime juice. The smokiness of the mezcal with the light melon flavor complimented each other perfectly.

There were so many appetizers to choose from that I wanted to try, but I went with the House-Baked Focaccia with a sun-dried tomato dip and herb butter. I loved the flavors of the tomato dip with the butter, it was so hard to put down.

For my main meal, I accidentally ordered the wrong dish which was unfortunate. I ended up ordering the Tagliatelle Vendura with broccolini, kale, stracciatella, fried garlic, and sauce limone. This dish was pretty good. I liked the stracciatella cheese, and the fried garlic added delicious flavor.

Overall, my meal at Alpana was great. I will be dreaming about the focaccia bread, and my mezcal cocktail was the perfect winter drink. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant, and it was super crowded on Friday.
