Angiolino - Ai 13 Arrosti
My favorite meal in Florence was at Angiolino because we got to try pasta and the famous Florentine steak. We were able to squeeze in a reservation spot on our first day there, so we were excited to try.

We began with a traditional Caprese Salad which was so fresh. The mozzarella was amazing and the tomatoes were delicious.

For our main course, I ordered the special which was a Taglierini with Truffle, and Bailey ordered pasta which we cannot remember what it’s called but was incredible. The truffle pasta I had was so delicious and was definitely one of my favorites for the entire trip.
We also ordered a red wine of Bailey’s choice to go with our Florentine steak that was coming up.

Even though we were full of pasta, we had to try the Florentine steak, and it was amazing. I feel like I didn’t fully appreciate it because I was not hungry, but the flavor was phenomenal.

For dessert, once again, a cappuccino for us to stay awake for the night to come.

Bailey and I couldn’t figure out if we were just getting free refills on our wine or if we needed to actively decline refills, either way, we weren’t upset with getting another glass of wine. The waiter also gave us a shot of Limoncello which you are supposed to sip on rather than take quickly.

Angiolino was such an incredible meal that I am still craving it. I loved both Bailey and my pasta and the Florentine steak was delicious as well. This was such a great stop to get all of the Florence specialties, and the atmosphere was lively and fun.
