Bar Vetti

On a quick trip to Louisville, I was lucky enough to try Bar Vetti with Katie and it was the perfect meal to eat some delicious Italian food.

Since Katie was participating in dry January, we both ordered the non-alcoholic spritz which was a great drink to go with our meal.

For an appetizer, we had the Cast Iron Fonduta with focaccia, fontina, and olive oil. This cheese dip was incredible and the bread that came with it was great too.

For our main meals, Katie noted that we had to order Orecchiette with sausage ragu, basil, ricotta, and breadcrumbs. This pasta was delicious and not something that I would have usually ordered. I loved how much ricotta was on the dish, and the pasta was fantastic.

We also tried the White Pie with mascarpone, taleggio, mozzarella, ricotta salt, pecorino, garlic, arugula, and lemon. The pizza was delicious and I loved all of the different cheese flavors together.

Though we didn't need it, we also ordered Crispy Potatoes which had this super creamy cheese on top. I loved the potatoes and they were cooked to perfection.

I absolutely loved all of the food and drinks we tried at Bar Vetti. It was the perfect place for a Saturday night dinner.
