BomboBar
For my final breakfast bites in Chicago, Lucy had picked out a yummy bakery/breakfast place for us to try. BomboBar was one of the places that we walked by many times, so I was happy to try some of the sweet treats.
Famous for their gelato and Italian donuts, we decided to order a few donuts for our breakfast.
- PB&J: strawberry jam, peanut butter glaze, and chopped peanuts on top
- Maple Candied Bacon: caramel custard, brown sugar glaze, crispy bacon, and pecans
- Cherry Cheesecake: cream cheese custard, cherry pie filling, and graham cracker crumble
- Cookies & Cream: oreo custard, vanilla glaze, and crushed oreo
All of these donuts were phenomenal and a sugar overload, but my favorite was the PB&J. This was such a delicious stop for a sugar-filled breakfast, and I loved it all.
