Caffé Vivace
I had passed Caffè Vivace in my car many times, so I decided it was finally time to go.
The entire premise of this café is that it is a coffee shop during the day and a jazz lounge at night. The only problem with this is that the seating was more like for viewing a band, and not the comfy chairs that coffee shops usually have.
The best part about this experience was that I have found my new best Cincinnati hot chocolate.
I asked the barista if they add any flavors to the hot chocolate and she gave me a delicious toasted marshmallow and vanilla drink — of course, with whipped cream on top. Also, they gave me the drink in a mug which gives some bonus points.
Aside from the delicious hot chocolate, I enjoyed the atmosphere in the café because there were “regulars” who were sitting with their group of friends and there was great music playing from a record player. It is definitely worth the try, at least for the seasonal drinks or the yummy hot chocolate.
