Crafts and Vines
I will always enjoy a wine bar, no matter where or what it is. Crafts and Vines is a wine bar that I tried when I first moved to Cincinnati, but I decided to go back with my roommate and I am so happy that I did.
Crafts and Vines introduced me to my favorite wine glasses ever and they have tons of wines on draft.
The first time I tried this wine bar was meeting up with a few friends and I ordered the rosé which was phenomenal, but I always love rosé. They served some very heavy pours of wine, and the atmosphere sitting outside was great for a summer night.
My roommate and I decided to go to Crafts and Vines this past weekend because I was always wanting to go back and try some more of their wines. My experience here this time was outstanding and makes me want to go back for more.
We ordered flights of wine, which was an amazing option because that means we got to try five of their wines on draft. We both got to try – almost – all different wines and they were all delicious. My favorite was the tank rosé (that’s the shortened name, but you get the gist) because it was a perfect tasting dry wine. I also loved the Riesling because it was very dry which is pretty unusual for Riesling.
Also these flights were heavy pours as well – a bonus.
We decided to order a little charcuterie board to munch on while we enjoyed our wine and it blew away my expectations. I ordered a small board the last time I went and it was a little lame, so they really stepped up their game.
We had prosciutto, goat cheese, and another cheese covered in herbs. The pickles and jam were amazing additions to the board and it was delicious in general.
Crafts and Vines is a delicious wine bar to go to on any night of the week. I loved both of my foodie experiences there and would definitely go back for more of the yummy rosé.
