Deeper Roots
I have found my new favorite coffee shop in Cincinnati. The best part is that there are a few locations, so you can always find yourself around one.

My favorite location is the downtown cafè because it has a nice, cozy vibe to it. I love going and sitting in the comfortable couches in the back.
The first time I went, I ordered the Honey Bear — mainly for the name — but it was a delicious latte with honey and cinnamon.

The next time I went I ordered a hot chocolate and an egg croissant. Both of these were very delicious and I loved the croissant — it was the perfect mix of sweet and savory.

When my parents came to visit me in Cincy, we were walking around Findlay Market and stopped at that Deeper Roots location for a pick-me-up. I ordered the Honey Bear again because it was so good, and my mom ordered a cappuccino.

Finally, the most recent time I went to Deeper Roots was amid the snowstorm that went through the midwest. Because my roommate and I had to both work from home, we decided to spend part of the day at Deeper Roots so we weren’t crammed into our apartment.
I ordered a hot chocolate and ate the zucchini and chocolate chip muffin. To my surprise, the muffin was delicious. It was definitely different than a regular chocolate muffin, but I actually loved it. Of course, the hot chocolate was great as well.

I have loved trying some of the Deeper Roots locations because they all have a similar atmosphere. Two of the locations being within walking distance is a great perk, and I have loved all of the drinks and treats I have tried there.
