Forestry Camp
Forestry Camp was the best food that I tried in Asheville. I got this recommendation from a coworker who said it was a must to dine here, and I’m glad I did because it was incredible.
We sat in the upstairs area of the restaurant which had such a great atmosphere. We began our meal with some wine – rosè for me and riesling for Bailey. We also ordered the beef skewers accompanied by honeycombs and creamy cheese.
The skewers’ flavor was fantastic and perfectly cooked. I loved the different flavors in the appetizer and it all worked together tastefully.
For the main course, I ordered the seared trout which had such an amazing flavor. It was super garlicky and the flavor of the trout and shrimp was delicious. Bailey ordered the smoked chicken which also had the most incredible smoked flavor.
The atmosphere at Forestry Camp was great and I loved my dining experience there. The food was the perfect farewell to our weekend in Asheville.
