French Broad Chocolate Lounge
When I drove by the French Broad Chocolate Lounge it immediately caught my eye.
1. Because it was a chocolate lounge, and 2. Because it looked like a cute, little bakery.
Bailey and I decided to get some coffee and sweets after breakfast one morning, and we knew we had to try the French Broad Chocolate Lounge.
Once again, all of the locals told us this was the place to go, so we were happy to oblige to that.
The line was out the door when we arrived at the bakery which is such a good sign that it’s a delicious place. Luckily, the wait was not too long and we got inside quickly.
There were many different treats to choose from, but I had to do the chocolate crème brûlée that they torched right in front of the customers. I also ordered the salted caramel brownie hot chocolate which was the best flavored hot chocolate I have tried – ever. My drink came in a mug, which made it even better.
Anything called a chocolate lounge is something I knew to definitely try. I’m happy that it was recommended to Bailey and I because it was such a delicious treat to begin our day with. The salted caramel brownie hot chocolate tasted exactly as great as it sounds and the chocolate crème brûlée was just incredible.
