Geraldine's
My favorite meal that I had in Austin was at Geraldine’s because it was a fancier restaurant with delicious cocktails and the food was great.
I started the meal with Mission Martini which had tequila, mezcal, and cucumber-jalapeno vermouth. This drink was so delicious and I loved how spicy it was. Some of the other girls ordered the Cause-Mopolitan which had strawberry vodka, cranberry, Cointreau, and lemon.
One of the best parts of the meal was the Buttermilk Biscuits with an amazing maple honey butter. These biscuits tasted homemade and were some of the best I have had. We ordered tons for the table because we loved them so much.
Everyone ordered some different items from the menu which was fun because I got the try a lot of flavors. I ordered the Mushroom Ragu with rigatoni, black truffle butter, and pecorino. This was amazing and I loved the flavors of the truffle with the mushrooms.
Here are just a few more of the items the table ordered: Grilled Gulf Shrimp, Cacio de Pepe, and the Roasted Salmon.
Geraldine's was a great place for a group to dine at. I loved that it was a fancier-feeling restaurant and I loved all of the different drinks and food that my table ordered.
