Goose & Elder

Goose and Elder is a brunch place in OTR that I have seen and wanted to try ever since the first time I went to Findlay Market.

Still full from dinner the night before at Oakley Wines, my friend and I thought we would have a “light brunch” at Goose and Elder. We were way off once we saw the menu with all of the delicious items to try.

It was about 12 degrees outside, so I had to order a hot chocolate to help warm me up. It was super tasty, and there was cinnamon sprinkled on top of it – which was different, but I still liked the flavor of it.

Originally my brunch thoughts were to get something healthy, but when I saw the Speckled Goosecakes I couldn't resist. Chocolate chip pancakes with bananas and peanut buttercream – basically everything I like all in one. The pancakes revived me from a late night the day before and tasted just as good as they sound.

I’m happy that I was able to finally try Goose and Elder and it was as good as I expected it would be. The warm, coziness of the restaurant was the perfect Sunday fix to start off the new week.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Not that this isn't obvious, but I am not a professional writer - I don't claim to be one either. Cut me some slack on my writing for a little bit. It will get better!
