Il Porcellino

Il Porcellino in River North is a must-visit if you're craving authentic Italian comfort food. This classic Italian eatery offers a cozy, vibrant atmosphere perfect for casual dining and special occasions. Before heading to a show, I decided to indulge in a delicious Italian meal at Il Porcellino, and the flavors did not disappoint.

I kicked off my meal with the Stuffed Mushrooms and Tuscan Cheese Bread. The stuffed mushrooms were packed with flavor, while the cheese bread paired perfectly with their signature marinara sauce.

For my main course, I opted for the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, a traditional dish that completely lived up to its reputation. The creamy vodka sauce was delicious, and dipping the bread into the sauce made for an even more indulgent experience.

Il Porcellino offers generous portion sizes, making it ideal for sharing or satisfying a big appetite. The lively weekend atmosphere and the classic Italian flavors make this a great spot for dining at the bar or enjoying a meal before an evening show. While the portions were large, the quality of the food was exceptional, leaving me eager to return and try even more from the menu.
