Jeff Ruby's

I understand that Jeff Ruby’s is not a unique find in Cincinnati, but the best part about it is that you can go there and not have to drop $200 on the meal.

We started the dinner with an Orange Cream Spritz which was a traditional Aperol Spritz, but with vanilla in it. Usually, I am not loving different takes on an Aperol Spritz, but this was absolutely fantastic. I loved the flavor of it and it added a really nice touch to the drink.

We ordered the Wedge Salad — sorry this is not pictured — which had bacon, tomato, red onion, fresh dill, and buttermilk bleu cheese. Honestly, I did not know that it had bleu cheese dressing which i normally wouldn’t try, but it was great.

The reason that we went to Jeff Ruby’s in the first place was to try the Godfather Sushi Roll, so we of course had to get it.

This sushi roll was incredibly delicious and everything I thought it would be. The roll had tempura lobster, filet mignon, asparagus, avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. It tasted just as amazing as it sounds and with all of the different flavors and textures it was the perfect sushi roll.

Obviously, going to dinner at Jeff Ruby’s is not just a casual night, but I had been wanting the try the Godfather Roll for a while now. It was such a great environment to sit at the bar and get some drinks and appetizers, and we stayed at the dinner for a few hours.

Not that this isn't obvious, but I am not a professional writer - I don't claim to be one either. Cut me some slack on my writing for a little bit. It will get better!
