Krueger's Tavern
Krueger’s Tavern finally opened in its new location, so I had to go see what the hype was about. My first observation was the atmosphere was incredible on a Friday night, and it was fun to be a part of.
I started with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which was great as it always is. I also had the Oysters Rockefeller which was super spinachy and delicious.
Next up on my order was the Simple Kale Salad with garlic breadcrumbs, parmigiano reggiano, and lemon vinaigrette. This salad was so delicious and I know I will crave it constantly. I loved how fine the kale was chopped and the bread crumbs were an amazing topping to the salad.
Because it was Friday and I couldn’t eat meat, I decided to try the Veggie Burger which I had heard was a must. Having never tried a veggie burger before, this was surprisingly delicious and the texture was almost like real meat.
I also had to try an Aperol Spritz while I was sitting there, and it was refreshing with a great ratio.
Krueger’s Tavern is the perfect place to dine by yourself because the environment was lively and there is plenty of bar space to sit at. I loved the different no-meat food options, and the flavors were pretty great.
