La Cabra

La Cabra, nestled in New York City, proved to be a hidden gem for coffee lovers and pastry enthusiasts alike. This Danish-inspired café blends exceptional coffee with artisanal baked goods, offering a cozy yet elevated experience.

I started my visit with their signature latte, served in La Cabra’s unique handleless mug—a detail that adds to the café's minimalist charm. For bakery items, we indulged in the Pain Suissesse, a table favorite with its perfectly flaky layers and rich chocolate filling. Another standout was the Canelé, boasting a beautifully caramelized crust and a moist, custard-like interior.

A creamy latte served in La Cabra's signature handleless mug, placed on a wooden table with natural light enhancing the coffee's frothy texture.

A flaky, golden-brown Pain Suissesse pastry with visible layers, showcasing rich chocolate oozing from the center. A perfectly caramelized Canelé pastry with a glossy exterior and moist, custardy interior on a white plate, surrounded by a cozy café ambiance.

La Cabra is the perfect coffee shop to fuel you throughout the day. The inviting atmosphere, artisanal coffee, and perfectly crafted pastries make it a standout spot in NYC's bustling café scene. Whether you're starting your day or taking a midday break, La Cabra is an absolute must-visit.
