Mama’s on Main
Mama's on Main is a super popular Italian restaurant in Covington that I wanted to try again because I had not been there in such a long time. I ventured to Mama's and started with an Aperol Spritz and the Heirloom Tomato Salad with ricotta, pickled shallot, and basil.
Any time I see Arancini on the menu I have to order. This arancini was delicious and perfectly cooked with super crispy outside.
For my pasta dish, I ordered Spaghetti Al Limone with lemon, grana padano, and cream. This was super lemony, but also refreshing. I loved mixing the arancini with the limone pasta because it was a nice blend of the two flavors.
I also had a glass of wine which was a recommendation by the bartender because it paired well with both red sauce and the limone. It was an Italian wine and was similar to Sauvignon Blanc.
Mama's on Main was just as delicious as I remembered. I loved the atmosphere of sitting at the bar and taking recommendations from the bartenders. The food was incredible, and my spritz was made to perfection.
