Metropole

The perfect place to dine before seeing a show at the Aronoff Center is, of course, Metropole because it is right across the street. Metropole is a restaurant that I walk by constantly, so I was excited to finally try the menu.

We started the meal all with glasses of Sauvignon Blanc which was delicious.

For our appetizer, we ordered the Burrata with multigrain bread, heirloom tomato and peach jam, watercress, black walnut, and cherry. This burrata dish was phenomenal with all of the sweet flavors mixed with the savoriness of the bread.

For our meal, I ordered pasta with lobster and corn which was delicious and a very interesting mix of flavors together. Grace ordered the Seared Sea Scallops, and Bailey ordered the Cacio e Pepe.

For dessert, we all tried the KY Coffee which had bourbon cream, coffee, and fresh whipped cream on top. Now, I don’t love the taste of bourbon, but I loved this cocktail because it had the perfect mix of all the flavors together.

I’m happy that I found the perfect occasion to dine at Metropole because it was delicious food and drink experience along with a lively atmosphere. The Burrata was my favorite item to try, and I would definitely go back to order the KY Coffee again.
