Milk Jar Cafè & Boba Cha

I have a new fascination and craving – milk tea. I don't know what provoked me to try this being that I don't like tea that much, but I’m happy I did because it is so delicious.

The first time I tried milk tea was at the Milk Jar Café and the woman working was super helpful. I went with the standard Thai milk tea with regular Boba beads. It’s a bit hard to describe the flavor of the drink, but it tastes very sweet.

I went to Milk Jar a few more times and didn't stray away from the drink flavors that I got the first time. I wanted to try some more milk tea cafés and decided with Boba Cha in OTR.

Grace and I walked there on Sunday morning and I decided to try some new flavors in the tea. I ordered the vanilla milk tea with lychee Boba beads – amazing. Grace went with the fruitier flavors and ordered the mango milk tea with raspberry Boba beads. We both loved the drinks and enjoyed them on the walk back to our apartment.

I’m glad that I tried milk tea because it’s one of my favorite things to drink now. It’s definitely a different concept, but it delicious. I know plenty of places in Cincinnati have all kinds of Boba tea, so it’s definitely worth a taste.
