Nolia Kitchen
Nolia is a new restaurant in Cincinnati that has been put on my top 3 favorite places to eat. The food and atmosphere were phenomenal and I definitely will be going back.
One of the things I loved about Nolia was that the restaurant was completely open to the kitchen. It was super nice to sit at the bar because we felt like we were having a private chef cooking for us. The staff was so great and would check on us and ask us how everything was tasting.
To begin the meal, Nolia did not have any signature cocktails with tequila, so they made an exception for us. We ordered the No Li-mint drink which originally has bourbon, peach, and mint but we substituted the bourbon for tequila. This was refreshing and delicious.
Nolia has a fantastic menu with plenty of small plate choices to choose from. We decided to try the skillet cornbread, oyster maque choux, and sweet potato donuts. All of these flavors were impeccable and everything was amazing. I cannot even choose which was my favorite because it was all so good.
Although we were not that hungry after our appetizers, we had to try the pork & peas because we had been watching the chef make it all night.
This was so flavorful and delicious that I am still craving it even though I was just there. The crust on the outside was phenomenal and even the peas were the best I have ever had.
Nolia was a great experience overall. I loved the staff because they created an amazing atmosphere for the guests and constantly were checking on how our experience was. The food had so much flavor and there were tons of items to choose from on the menu. I will 100% be going back to Nolia soon.
