Oakley Fish House

My parents came in town for Easter, so it was ideal to try Oakley Fish House for the last no meat Friday of the year. Going into the meal, I did not expect much, but it ended up blowing my expectations out of the water.

We started our meal with some drinks, I ordered the tequila cocktail on the menu and it was super tart but had a good flavor throughout my meal.

We wanted to try some oysters and sushi for an appetizer and both were delicious. The oysters were great, as they usually are, and the sushi roll had tons of flavor with lobster, lump crab, avocado, and scallops.

For my meal, I ordered the Stuffed Sole with spinach, crab meat, yellow peppers, basil, lemon butter, and creamy polenta. This was phenomenal and fresh with the citrus flavors, and the vegetables were great with it.

My dad is still raving about his meal - the Sesame Tuna with portabella mushroom and shrimp topped with red miso sauce. His meal was incredibly delicious and the flavors were outstanding. My mom ordered the Lobster Ravioli, which is usually one of my go tos - it was great as well.

Going into the meal at Oakley Fish House, I had not heard much about the restaurant. I am happy that I tried it because both my parents and I enjoyed all of the flavors that we were able to try. If you are a fish lover, or just like seafood in general, Oakley Fish House is definitely worth a try.
