Olla Taqueria

For our Cinco de Mayo festivities, Grace and I decided to try Olla Taqueria to celebrate. As you can imagine, it was incredibly crowded, but definitely worth it because the food was so delicious.

We ordered a spicy margarita to start, which was refreshing but not super spicy.

We ordered the chips and guacamole which was great and the chips were so good. They also gave us a ton of guacamole which is not the norm at restaurants.

For my meal, I ordered two of the birria tacos which were some of the best tacos I had ever had. It resembled a mix between a typical taco and a quesadilla, and I loved it. The tacos were accompanied by dipping sauces — green salsa, regular salsa, and some dip with a bunch of spices in it.

Grace ordered a birria taco and a chicken taco with it as well.

Olla was the perfect place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and the food was phenomenal. It felt like a super authentic meal, and I definitely want to go back for more birria tacos.
