Roscioli

Roscioli is a dining experience that combines the authenticity of Rome with the vibrant culinary scene of New York City. Having dined at their iconic location in Rome, revisiting this beloved spot in NYC was a must. The meal began with a curated bread and olive oil selection, setting the tone with its rich flavors.

A plate of rustic bread served with golden olive oil, exuding richness and simplicity, set against an elegant dining table.

For appetizers, the Prosciutto and Burrata stole the show. The prosciutto was thinly sliced, melting in the mouth, while the creamy burrata added a delicious touch to the dish.

Thinly sliced prosciutto paired with creamy burrata, artfully arranged on a white plate with a minimalist backdrop.

Another standout starter was the Suppli al Telefono, a Roman classic. These crispy rice balls were golden on the outside with a cheesy, savory filling that offered a perfect balance of textures and flavors.

Crispy, golden-brown Suppli al Telefono, showcasing their cheesy interior, presented on a sleek serving dish.

Roscioli’s commitment to tradition shines through its pasta offerings, featuring only the four Roman classics. Naturally, I had to try the Carbonara, which was as indulgent as expected. The dish boasted a rich, cheesy sauce paired with thick-cut pancetta, delivering an authentic taste of Rome in every bite.

A plate of traditional Carbonara pasta with a rich sauce, thick pancetta chunks, and a light dusting of cheese, capturing the essence of Roman cuisine.

Roscioli NYC is a culinary treasure for those seeking authentic Italian flavors. The Prosciutto and Burrata are a must-try, and the rest of the menu leaves plenty to explore. For a true Roman dining experience in the heart of NYC, Roscioli is the place to be.
