Sleepy Bee Cafè

After an entire year of talking about going to Sleepy Bee Cafe, I finally got the chance to try it. It happened to be perfect timing because I needed a big breakfast after running a race on a Saturday morning.

Sleepy Bee is always so crowded downtown that every time we have tried to go we end up leaving because the wait is too long. I was so excited to try the food here because I had heard it was delicious — and it was.

I had to order a hot chocolate, and it was amazing. The best part of it was that the logo of the sleepy bee is the cutest thing I have ever seen. It was so cute that I could not stop talking about it and my roommate ended up buying me the mug for my birthday.

For my meal, I decided to order the Broakley which had thick-cut bacon, lettuce, broken egg, avocado, white cheddar cheese, onion, and tomato all on a milk bun. Yes, it was as delicious as it sounds. I also got a side of goetta and the crispy potatoes.

One thing I learned at this meal was that it is customary for some people to always order a pancake for the table at breakfast. This was a perfect idea, so we ordered a chocolate chip pancake that was delicious.

Sleepy Bee lived up to all of the hype that everyone has given it. I loved all of the different options of food and everything that I tried was amazing. I definitely would love to go again.
