Sotto
Sotto is a restaurant that people rave about in Cincinnati. Out of all the places to eat here, Sotto was by far the one that was recommended to me the most. I tried Sotto for the first time about two years ago and decided to go back a few weekends ago.
This past time at Sotto, I went by myself and took a seat at the bar. Sotto is the perfect place to go by yourself and sit at the bar because the atmosphere is great and there are usually other people by themselves as well.
I decided to order the Wild Thing cocktail which had Cambrian-chili tequila, blackberry, honey, lime, and ginger beer. I loved this cocktail and the fruity flavors balanced out the spiciness of the tequila.
One of the starters on the menu that I have been told is a must-try is the Black Kale Caesar with Parmigiano. This salad was delicious and barely even tasted like a salad. All of the flavors and textures in the salad went together perfectly.
Because it was a Friday during Lent, I ordered the Cacio e Pepe for my entree. This was incredibly cheesy and rich which I loved.
For my dessert, I ordered an Espresso Martini which was delicious and super chocolatey. It was the perfect drink to suffice my sweet tooth for the night.
Sotto is my favorite restaurant so far to go solo. I loved the environment sitting at the bar and it was comfortable to be there by myself.
I have to highlight my first time at Sotto as well. I ordered an Aperol Spritz which was delicious, along with the mushroom risotto. For dessert, we had the Ricotta Doughnuts which are an absolute must-try.
Sotto is definitely a delicious restaurant to try in Cincinnati. I love the atmosphere at the restaurant and the pasta is delicious. There are many different drinks and food options you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.
