Sushi San

Sushi San is a staple in Chicago’s sushi scene, known for its exceptional menu and unbeatable happy hour deals. After a work event, I decided to visit Sushi San, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in the city. The extensive menu offers a variety of dishes, perfect for sushi lovers and those seeking something a little different.

We kicked off the meal with a crisp glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which paired beautifully with the fresh flavors of the food. Our first dish, the Spicy Tuna with Crispy Rice, was a standout. The tuna was incredibly fresh, and the crispy rice added the perfect texture.

One of the menu highlights was the Beef 'n Bop Sizzling Rice. This dish is a must-try for anyone visiting Sushi San. The beef was tender, and the rice had a fantastic flavor that made every bite enjoyable.

For sushi rolls, we opted for the Bluefin Tuna with Avocado and the Spicy Salmon. These rolls complemented each other perfectly, with the Bluefin Tuna offering a rich, buttery flavor, and the Spicy Salmon adding a kick of heat.

To finish off the meal, we indulged in Strawberry Mochi. The mochi was soft, sweet, and the perfect light dessert to end a satisfying dinner.

Sushi San exceeded my expectations with its diverse menu and flavorful dishes. I appreciated that the restaurant offers more than just sushi, like the Beef 'n Bop, which added a unique twist to our dining experience. I’m already looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu and take advantage of their happy hour deals.
