Swift & Sons

To finish off the Chicago food tour, we had our last meal at Swift & Sons.

I have to preface that we ate donuts before dinner, which meant that none of us were starving for this amazing meal. If I could go back in time, I wish that we had not because I know I did not enjoy this meal as much as I could have.

To start off the meal I ordered the Massey Dacta Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. It was great, of course.

Jack and I split a caesar salad which was delicious. I always love beginners salads at nicer restaurants because they always just taste better than other places.

We also ordered the oysters for the table which tasted super fresh.

At this point, I was all steaked-out because I swear I had steak for three different meals within the span of a week. That did not stop me from ordering the filet mignon though. The crunch of the outside was perfect and it was delicious as can be.

For the table, we ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with bacon jam and the Roasted Mushrooms which had garlic butter and porcini aioli. Lucy ordered the Crispy Rock Shrimp for her meal which was incredibly spicy.

Like I said before, we all were mad that we had just eaten donuts right before this meal, but it was still delicious. I will definitely be going back because I want to try more items on the menu. There were so many things to choose from that it’s perfect for any occasion.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Not that this isn't obvious, but I am not a professional writer - I don't claim to be one either. Cut me some slack on my writing for a little bit. It will get better!
