Swift & Sons

To start off Thanksgiving spent in Chicago, my family dined at Swift & Sons. I have been to Swift & Sons before, but this meal was even better. I started the meal with a Naked & Famous cocktail which had Mezcal, Yellow Chartreuse, Aperitivo, and lime juice. I loved the smokiness of the cocktail, and the lime juice gave just enough citrus flavor.

We had a few appetizers to begin our meal - West Coast Oysters, Potato and Ricotta Pierogi, and the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo. The dressing for the oysters was amazing, and I loved the pierogis.

For my main meal, I ordered the Filet which was cooked to perfection. I had not ordered a steak in a long time, so the filet fulfilled my craving. We also ordered the Green Bean Casserole as a side because that is the best Thanksgiving dish.

After a cappuccino and a few more drinks, the entire table was stuffed from dinner. Swift & Sons was the perfect spot for a big group of people to dine at and spend time catching up. I loved all of the food we tried, and it was a great atmosphere.
