The Belfry
The Belfry was one of my favorite parts of the New York trip because it was a great cocktail bar with delicious and unique drinks.

Once we got into the bar, we realized that The Belfry is known for its pickleback shots. I ordered The Tickleback which was a shot of Mezcal chased with Chipotle Sour Brine. The shot was actually pretty good, I liked the concept of it and the flavors went well together.

Our first cocktails were Attached at the Hip for me with jalapeño tequila, elderflower, cucumber, and lime. This cocktail was super refreshing and I loved the mix of sweet and spicy to balance each other out. Lucy ordered the Dirty Shirley with vodka, grenadine, and soda.

For our final drinks, I ordered another Attached at the Hip and Lucy ordered the Espresso Martini. Once again, mine was phenomenal and Lucy’s was great as well.

The Belfry was such a fun bar to try and the cocktails were delicious. I loved the different items on the menu and my Tickleback shot was surprisingly good. I definitely would recommend this place to people visiting the City because it was recommended to me.
