The Blind Lemon
I have no idea why it took me so long to finally try The Blind Lemon, but I love the atmosphere and drinks that I have tried.
I originally went to The Blind Lemon on New Year’s Eve, and we sat outside by the fire and listened to the live music coming from the inside. I had wanted to get an espresso martini, but the waitress had recommended the Chocolatini with Godiva, Bailey’s, coffee liqueur, and vodka. This was super creamy and delicious which I loved.
I went to The Blind Lemon the next weekend because I wanted to try more of the winter cocktails. The cocktail bar has many different types of hot chocolate cocktails which I was excited to try.
I ordered the Snuggler which had peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate — this was great and was the perfect winter treat. Bailey ordered Hot Scotch which was butterscotch schnapps and hot chocolate, and Grace ordered the Cuddler which had Amaretto and hot chocolate.
All of these cocktails were unique, but a warm and fantastic drink for the cold winter.
The Blind Lemon has delicious drinks and the atmosphere is phenomenal. They almost always have live music playing inside and a fire going on outside. I love the different vibes of the bar, and all of the different seasonal drinks are amazing. I definitely cannot wait to go back even closer to the summer to try some more of the cocktails.
