Tommy V's Urban Kitchen + Bar
To celebrate Mackenzie’s job offer in Scottsdale, it was my job to find an Italian restaurant for us to dine at. After much research, I came to the conclusion of trying Tommy V’s Urban Kitchen and Bar we were not disappointed.
We began the night with some wine and mussels for an appetizer. I ordered the rosè which was delicious and the mussels were just as tasteful with a little spice to them.
Tommy V’s was a seafood-heavy restaurant which I absolutely loved. My dad, Jack, and I all ordered some form of seafood and risotto which the waiter had recommended to us. I got the seafood medley with risotto which entailed scallops, clams, calamari, mussels, and shrimp all in a spicy sauce.
Obviously, for an Italian restaurant, I had to try an Aperol spritz, and I have to say it was fantastic and had the perfect Aperol to bubbly ratio.
We didn't want to order any dessert, but the waiter brought out flourless chocolate for our celebration for Mackenzie, and it was as delicious as it sounds. We enjoyed the last of our drinks and finished the cake and left with happy, full stomachs.
Tommy V’s was the perfect place to have a little celebration. It was refreshing to have a waiter give amazing recommendations on food and drinks that we all loved. Tommy V’s is a restaurant for any occasion and I’m happy I got my Italian fix while here in Scottsdale.
